Johnson March Systems has been the global leader in providing custom Chemical Dosing, Ammonia Feed, and Steam and Water (SWAS) Sampling to the Power, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas Industries since 1989. We differentiate ourselves with our ability to bid, design, and fabricate nearly every aspect of our projects. Johnson March is a certified ASME pressure vessel fabricator, and has a certified ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Program that separates our business from those that are less invested and able. In addition to being the company of choice for EPC’s and Engineering firms in the United States, Johnson March Systems has equipment in over eighty countries on six continents. The company’s roots reach back over seventy years with our original business being in dust suppression and dust collection. We thrive on projects that need a bit more engineering expertise and fabricating ability. We have the facility to handle the larger projects that others simply cannot.

How We Got Here

Johnson March Systems Inc. began in 1989 as a purchased segment of the original Johnson March Corporation.  Johnson March Corporation was purchased by Waverley Minerals from the U.K., their interest was the absorbent business division of Johnson March.  They sold the Water and Dust units of Johnson March to Thomas Connell Jr, the company's then President.  The Ivyland Pennsylvania facility we currently call home has gone through several expansions over the years.  Originally it was a modest 12,000 sq. ft. building, with a small office and fabrication facility.  In its beginning, it was home to about 15 employees split between the office and shop.

As customers began to appreciate the quality of the product and the honesty of the relationship, their requests to quote became larger and more complex projects.  It quickly became apparent that additional office and fabrication space was going to be required.  The first addition more than doubled the size of the facility adding much needed office space as well as heavy lift and painting capabilities in the shop.

The additional space allowed the company to grow quickly and it did not take a lot of years to realize that we were going to need more space and even heavier lift capabilites.    In 1997 another large addition was completed that rendered the facility as it exists today at nearly 50,000 sq. ft.  The facility today employs a lot more people between the office and shop, and has capacity to continue to grow for a long time.

We were fortunate to have this large facility, as our business path has taken us to being the world leader in Sampling Systems and Chemical Dosing systems in shelters which require significant space and very heavy lifting capabilities.   Also, the space afforded us the option to manufacture Bulk Tanks for Ammonia Storage, Acid Storage and other Bulk Chemical Storage as needed.

The company is still privately owned by the Connell family, and strives to build great systems for our customers and great livelihoods for our many long time employees.  Check back with the site periodically as we have some exciting new product offerings in development, as well as further changes to our facility to enhance our abilities.
