The burning of fossil fuels emits harmful emissions such as nitrogen oxides (NOx). All new power generation plants require a Selective Catalytic Reduction System (SCR) be installed at the power plant to reduce these emissions. A key component is the Ammonia System which feeds ammonia into the SCR so that NOx can be turned into water vapor, a harmless emission.
We provide a complete “system” including the ammonia Truck Unloading Skid, the ammonia Storage Tank (some in excess of 50,000 gallons, vertical or horizontal) and Forwarding Skid and any associated ladders, platforms or rain showers that are needed. We can also fabricate Urea Injection Systems complete with bag unloaders, mixing and transfer pumps systems for SNCR applications. In addition to Ammonia Systems for the SCR, we also fabricate many other systems in use to help treat emissions. Calcium Bromide Systems and Mercury Re-emissions Systems may be used in FGD systems to reduce Sulfur Dioxide and mercury levels. We also fabricate Dust Suppression Systems and Odor Control Systems for airborne particulate emissions at mines, landfills and wastewater plants which is more covered in our Material Handling section.
